check out stuff by the band Zodiac, sounds pretty similar to this YMO song.

 

luke vibert sampled the shit out of Zodiac on his kerrier district series

( i think it's a different band than 'the zodiac' which vibert also samples)

Brian Ellis introduced me to them, i like how synth heavy they are but how it sounds all played live. Besides YMO i've never heard any other 'band' really do it this way without sequences running in the background
