Let's figure out BOC gear

Besides de obvious Yamaha CS1X, I can only guess that there is a Sampler connected by SCSI cable maybe to a external Zip or HD drive. Maybe an Akai S3000XL? Or 1000XL?

I don't think they are using audio out from that CS1X. Maybe it's controlling the sampler.

I own a CS1X and the sounds on that thing are nothing like what BOC produce in their tracks. Would be interesting to see what pictures you have anyway.

From the picture I can ascertain that they use special boc synthesizers and recorderisers all connected by special cables that go into special televisions. and a warm hat.

Sorry, I can't tell anything from that photo. I did not notice the hazmat sticker on the tv monitor though, I think that may be a clue.

cool, never seen this picture before. that synth could actually be a CS1X, its the right colour and size. as you said they are just probably using it as a master keyboard.

Unfortunately,no. Since i became slightly obsessed in '02 they haven't played live,not that i'm aware of anyway.

and i doubt they use a cs1x but you probably got that mixed up with a cs-01 - cs-80
