what do you guys think about this show?

they don't cover a lot of the metal i enjoy

i was also disappointed that pantera won

over slayer in the most recent throwdown

the eddie's box of junk girl is hot though!

is it called "that metal show"?

i've never heard of it

my experience with vh1 metal is that most of it is about 70's and 80's glam/hair metal, and most of that stuff is real annoying. there are often some great classics mixed in but it's kinda like a radio station where it seems almost fruitless to bother with

but my experience is fairly minimal and i would watch this show if i could.

vh1 classic seems really into hair bands

yeah theres lots of hair band shit. Its good to watch it with a friend and have a bunch of beer. Anything with Dio or Iron Maiden immediately gets me pumped. Then you get some more obscure but equally fun shit, like Dokken's "Dream Warriors" and at the end freddy krueger wakes up bc he just had a terrible nightmare with the band in it. Its a good time.
