Should I get this keyboard?

PC CYBER - Oxygen 49

Should I get this keyboard? I need a semi-decent midi controller and this baby has a whole bunch of controllers on it, as well as a pitch and mod wheel so it seems to cover all the basics and the price is not that bad either.

I don't really want to spend much more than this on a keyboard, so taking my budget into account is this a good purchase? I just want something that won't crap out on me randomly or just generally be really buggy.

Noevr tried that one but I'd try and find the older Novation LE 2nd hand as you get a X/Y pad and joystick!

get a CME U-Key Mobiltone 49. Looks wicked and CME's are really nice. dunno how much they are in Canada, but probably around the same price as the Oxygen 49.

it works just fine. lots of knobs and sliders ,and decent looks.

it works really well but the presets for reason are all fucked up.

It only has Oxygen 8 (old) and Oxygen 8 (new) or just generic m-audio controller. With the generic i lose the presets, but I can use more than 3 knobs.

The buttons dont work at all with reason though.... all of the sliders are fine but not the buttons? Should i just use ableton?

i only use steam powered mechanical analogue 1970s nintendo 9bit midi control keyboard synthesizers

I have this controller. you can download an update that makes reason recognize it.

maybe is broke... coz I don't have any issues like

argh do I have to buy even more shit from Propellorheads just to get Reason to work properly?

Update: I got the presets working, its all snazzy and fine but the buttons still don't work. They register as keys lower than the lowest transposition of the keyboard, so like -2 octaves. Why? wtf. Even if I map them to shit, they only register one push per recording, and when I press it, it also plays one of those ugly notes that are way too low to ever be useful.

Besides that I'm supremely satisfied with this keyboard and I imagine it will run fine with ableton considering its bundled with it.

aren't there templates or anything you can download and save to the keyboard?
