Anything to break a sweat and get the heart rate up. Once you get on a routine it'l become second nature and you'l feel really good. Edit: Diet is 1/2 of it so cut out the snacks and work with more fruits and vegetables. By walking I mean setting yourself a brisk pace and only taking a couple of brief breaks. Its a really good way of burning fat which sounds like what you need to be doing. When you feel a bit more confident with your stamina, start jogging. Losing weight and getting fit is hard and painful work. There is no easy way, just man up and get on with it.
