long hair and rock

as my hair gets longer I've noticed that I'm enjoying rock music a lot more. are the two related? head banging is more fun sure but is that enough to make you enjoy music you would have mocked previously. maybe its an age thing.

things i've been enjoying:

NPR has been switched to the bone (classic rock station that plays new music??)

I was hanging out at the local tatoo parlour and the guy behind the counter was telling me about his two buddies that both have almost waist-length hair.

I said "They're metal guitarists, aren't they?"

He paused for a second, startled, before answering "Uh...yeah they are!"

i've always had longish hair, you all know the power of essines do

but as i discovered metal my hair has become much more of a statement. my hair gets longer and my metal dick gets harder and they go hand and hand. it's tough to really enjoy metal with a lame business haircut, and every metal band with a lame haircutter in their ranks loses credibility. baldness, however, is acceptable.

plus some chicks, lots of the chicks i like, get down with some glorious hair.

but if you get into whitesnake/def leppard hair stylings then you really can just suck it.

Hardcore is awesome. Listen to Kill Your Idols or No Warning. Pure unbridled anger and energy, not some nancy prancing around the Netherlands with make-up all up in his pussy.

i went to some acid house night (when my hair was right down my back) and these metal fans were taking their sweet time leaving from the early slot (plus i was bit too early). so i mingled with the metal fans and got some funny looks, they kept looking at my t-shirt, which had blue flamingos on it. anyway, i noticed not that many of them had long hair, probably a 3rd of them. one long-haired metal dude with black jeans stayed and tried to give acid house a chance.

but no, i don't like rock more since having long hair.
