WATMM Monthly Remix Competition -> Round 4 Voting

(For the story up till now, see this original thread, and also the round 1 voting, round 2 voting and round 3 voting threads)

The source track for Round 4 was 'Techno City' by Cybotron, a slice of classic detroit techno, chosen by Monolith who was the winner of Round 3. If you're not familiar with the source track you can hear it on YouTube.

We have 4 entries, which for the purposes of the poll have been anonymised (track titles are as submitted, artist names have been changed)

Please listen to the remixes, maybe copy them to your MP3 player, chill with them for a bit, listen to them in the car, on the bus. Then cast your vote.

This poll will run for 1 week and a bit, until 23:00 GMT on Friday 10th April.

Then the winner will be un-masked, and they will choose the source track for Round 5. Round 5 will probably start later on in April (need to leave a bit of time for Project 168!).

ANON B turned off after 1 drum roll and 2 seconds of wobble bass

ANON C lasted 30 seconds

ANON D quite ridiculous but had a certain charm

Well, they are all pretty decent for what they are, but Entry C is probably the most up my alley.

4 hours to go - does AnonC have it in the bag?

AnonC wins ... thats Beneboi ... who also won Round 2.

The other tracks were by:

Techno City (Sata Mix) - AnonA = Lights Set North

Tjekno Shitty - AnonB = Mega Farlig

Techno City (Whale Song Remix) - AnonC = Beneboi

Techno City Of the Undead - AnonD = Wrong Answer

So Beneboi gets to choose the source track for Round 5 .... we're going to take a week off while Project 168 is running though, so he gets a week to think about it. Bear in mind that Beneboi has previously hinted that he might choose 'Gloria Estefan - Rhythm is gonna get you'. Lets hope he has plenty of time to think the issue through over the coming days ; )

Meanwhile we are also discussing the future of the comp and possible rule changes and stuff in this thread.

Congratulations (again) to Beneboi who has been a great supporter of this project .... and thanks to everyone who joined in and voted. Round 5 will start in a week or so ....
