Some thoughts on EP7

So I finally enjoyed squeller and licflii the other day. I usually skip those tracks but finally came to appreciate them in full.

I had a question about left blank though: How did they make the synth going in it? Do you think the melody was all step sequenced or do you think they a random square wave controlling the pitch?
