Is this an all ages show? I'm thinking about making the trek, but it's a 6 hour round trip and I'd hate to get there and not be able to get in.

I really enjoyed the show. It would be fuckin sweet to have a recording of the set, or a similar mix.

What's the name of the project whose tracks you opened up with? It sounded like your pads and someone else's beats. It was great; I'd love to check out more if you have tracks up anywhere.

Sorry the place wasn't very dancey & that I had to go back to my bed before the end of your set, but I was diggin it all the way up to 1:30!

Did u talk to FLAHBLUB? I wanted to introduce myself but ... didn't. :undecided:

awesome show, WISP! encey described the first stuff you did with the other dude (alex?) as BOC meets 'brown out' which i really related to: really nice dark ambient down beat stuff, all the tracks were great -- i'd like to hear a recording if one exists. the pacing of that set was really good too, especially as it built up to the explosion of mother fucking WISP!!!! when you started doing wisp shit the vibe really got more intense, a few people couldn't help from dancing even though it wasn't much of a dancing scene. great stuff.

was the video something you brought or was it a sonoteque thing? it was very strange and i thought it was a nice accompaniment to the music.

flahblub, lol

We were at the Rodan until about 10:00. I asked some guy who was bringing in equipment if he knew whether Wisp was playing, and he was like :undecided: Then they were passing out fliers for an event called "living Sundays" which goes on each Sunday apparently, and did not involve any Wisp. We ate some soup and bugged out..

Yeah, not sure which time we played, but it was after 10. It was just me on the computer, and Benn brought his guitar and some pedals. Anyhow, it was neat. Not a huge set, just us dicking around. It may have been recorded, but I can't be certain. Sorry you didn't catch it... the booking for that show was sort of last minute and we squeezed on the bill, so the flyer may or may not have contained our names as performers. Anyhow, thanks for attempting the show. If I get a recording, I will try to send you a link to make up for your big round trip :)

Also, encey and Alcofribas... great to meet you guys. Sorry we couldn't have chatted longer, but it is always fun to me watmmz. Really glad you enjoyed the set... the music before I played Wisp shit was created by myself and my good friend Alex (who was the other fellow on the laptop in the booth). The project is called Overlap (http://www.myspace.com/overlapaudio ... these tracks are old, a bit boc-ish), we've been making music for a while now. That particular set was mostly comprised of material we created for the show, and a few finished compositions thrown in. Not sure when any of the material will be available, but eventually it will surface.

Luke and Essines... I will be touring the States later this year. Maybe some Canadian shows eventually. I will post more dates and specific info when I receive. Would be great to give you guys handjobs, I look forward to the day.

Did the venue end up being 21+?

I'd love to come out and show my support at some point on your tour, but I'm a youngin'.
