i had an awesome bacon butty this morning. i had run out of generic sauce and butter, so i had to improvise. i had:

4 rounds of bacon, an egg(runny), some fried onion, and loads of caesar dressing. wuz awesome.

Also Iain, original Coke is the way the light and the truth. Though sometimes I need to shake it up to get rid of the fizz. I only do this when I am seriously hungover because heavy burps tend to lead to shouting down the big white telephone.

True, but when you wake up with a sleeve full of vomit (because that was the only recepticle on the crowded train) on your porch in the shivering cold and shitting lightning bolts of pain out of your eyes. You're hardly going to say no to a bacon sandwich and a can of coke.

Nothing better than a bacon sandwich on toasted, buttered bread with a nice slice of fresh roma tomato and some fresh cracked pepper on it, with a nice dab of mayonnaise.

Does microwaving bacon actually work?

I have a hard time imagining anything good coming from it.

my mum used to microwave bacon cause it cut down on the smell for my dad. i never liked my bacon crispy as a kid so it cooked it just how i liked it. now i always fry or bake it.

i deep fried bacon a couple times when i worked at this little truck stop in alberta. i didnt use batter, but it was awesome

seems like i'm in the minority here, but i think the best bacon i've had was baked. frying for life, but baking produces the perfect texture, less grease, ultimate bacon experience.

again, i pan fry like a motherfucker; baking is just a rare treat.
