i've never seen the paperclip and i've used windows forever. strange.

through the years, a man peoples a space with images of provinces, kingdoms, mountains, bays, ships, islands, fishes, rooms, tools, stars, horses and people. shortly before his death, he discovers that the patient labyrinth of lines traces the image of his own face.

You know what I miss? Back when home PCs were still fairly new and and Microsoft had all these really infuriatingly harsh default error noises that would repeatedly punish feeble old people didn't know how to use them. :teeth: COMPUTER CUNT RAGEFLIP

Unfortunately computer rage is more rare these days. :on2long:

Heh, I remember that.

You'd head the ding or that little Windows 95 chord synth jab and your heart would just stop.

Fucking computers. Shit we take for granted now. Our kids will never realize that sometimes you would lose all your work for absolutely no reason at all, and there was no secret 12 backup copies being saved in the background at all times.

I made it through my entire undergraduate degree with a black and white screened mac classic. When I first started studying 3D, all students were required to back up to tape. SGI 02 machines were considered the creme of graphics plaforms, they sold for some ridiculous amount, like $10k. Those were the days...

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work!

So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces.

Far out, backing up to tape! That must have been such a pain in the ass having to fast-forward and rewind all the time.

i dunno what it is about their computers, but you hear the windows error noise like every 5-10 seconds when in a bank.

i went to use an ATM recently and it seemed it was running XP, had a message like "your computer is running low on memory", with an OK button

What is sick is some of those old SGI render rigs still sell for several hundred dollars, despite being under 300mhz pieces of shit. Probably people in Cuba or Haiti buying them like old photo copiers. I still can get $50 for a bottle of 15 year old toner lol.
