To Cure a Weakling Child

I usually skip this track from the RDJ Album. One of the worst Aphex tracks ever. 

It has some good bits though.

contour regard ruined the original for me

but now i'm kind of bored with contour, even annoyed by the empty tweaking and listen to this effect(!) parts.

Used to be my favourite "riding on the train at night" song. Seems to have lost some of it's magic over the years though.

I'm a fan of the counter mix, it makes me happy :)

This is one of my favorite tracks. The use of break-beats is brilliant, the mid-section breakdown is extremely precise, and seems to duplicate the melody. It's a bit a novelty piece I suppose but definitely not his worst. The Contour rversion isn't mind-blowing, quite a cliché remix really, but it's solid.

this is one of the first rdj tracks i heard actually, quality track

both are excellent but contour regard edges it out for me

i think i prefer the original. although great, contour regard depresses me

the INKEY$-type freakout bit on the original is fantastic too.

the drums are obviously ace, i got annoyed by the child's voice at first (not a fan of children in music) but i think he managed that quite well. it really adds to the track

after thinking about this for a bit, i think it might be worth pointing out that this is one of the most original songs ever created

i don't think aphex has any worst tracks, except for maybe that old style rot

this song is mid range aphex for me

i like contour regard much better. i heard contour first though which may have something to do with it

first time i heard the contour mix i was pretty well blazed, and it rocked my world.
