Guest my usernames always really suck
I want to make ~10 minute driving videos similar to this JET teacher, only instead of Japan it would be similarly-beautiful and interesting places here in Washington state: The choices of digital video cameras on sites like Newegg, Amazon, etc. is too god damn overwhelming for me to make a blind, random decision with any confidence. What's a good, durable, sturdy camera I can buy for under $150? With quality comparable to that seen in this person's videos (so not shitty, blurry, over-pixelated, horribly-compressed video you see in a lot of user videos)? Are SD cards the main and "only" storage medium for these things, or are there also other storage formats used by digital video cameras that I don't know about? J3FF3R00
The Canon VIXIA is a good one for something simple like this. It is HD and small. It has a pretty decent lens on it too. Check out B&H to compare different models... http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/shop/1871/Ca...Camcorders.html Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide J3FF3R00's signature Hide all signatures 666 Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/44803-i-dont-know-anything-about-digital-video-cameras/#findComment-1016747 Share on other sites
