mellotron samples?

does anyone have or know where to get some recorded samples of a mellotron?

it has such an iconic sound, im sure it'd be fun to play around with ^_________^

here's some i had kickin' around the ol computer.. i cant remember where i got them from or if there was more of them somewhere (i think there was.. i know if found them online somewhere, but i'm too lazy to go on a google quest right now)

you use reason yeah? i have a kickass mellotron refill, i won't upload it here because i'm not sure if it's a commercial thing or not, maybe i'll give it to you when i next see you in person?

It uses some pretty good quality samples and is pretty light on resources (and is free natch !)

kickass mellotron refill sounds sick :)

gforce released a plugin/sample library awhile back called m-tron. I had it for a while and it was pretty nice....

Just downloaded that, sounds great but it's just violin and brass Mellotron samples

Getting the M-Tron right now and trying to find a way to watch Mellowdrama: The Mellotron Movie (2009)

For what it's worth, I use Michael Pinder's Mellotron Archives sample CD. It lacks some of the more exotic samples that the M-Tron plug-in has if you buy its additional tape banks, such as the wine glasses patch, but you can always sample your own wine glasses. :) It has plenty of Mellotron and Chamberlin tape banks such as strings and choirs, and they're what I use the most, anyway.

I'd also recommend the Optigan/Orchestron/Talentmaker Toolkit. Like the Mellotron one, it's an Akai S-1000 format sample CD, so you can import it into pretty much anything. I bought it shortly before finishing Music From Mars, so you can hear some haunting Orchestron choir on the first two tracks.
