For the record, I love playing RB - it can be great fun, but yes, you do look like a total tool playing it - that's why when this guy tries to be 'cool' he ends up being a bigger douche than Hurricane Katrina was.

this noise kept me up last time i tried staying at my sisters apartment in pacific beach in san diego. Its like a spring break style mecha for drunk frat dudes and at 2am one night i kept being woken up by completely out of key trashed idiots singing and a clickity clack plastic sound from the drum kit in rock band pouring out of a window across the way.

when i was in japan in 1999 i remember seeing games like this in every arcade and thinking 'woah those crazy Japanese people actually get a lot of pleasure out of playing a musical version of simon says with plastic pads to hit on'

never in a million years did i think it would sweep the shit out of American gaming culture.

but i guess thats what happens when American video games become a vacuum of non creativity, just go rip off every last morsel from the japanese force feed it to the public like Cold play and the $ comes rollin in!
