Happy Saint Georges Day

I am going to an AA meeting, my home meeting, to make the teas and coffees and fill in as literature secretary, no booze for me .

i have no idea what you're meant to do on st georges day. as a scout we marched or some boring shit.

I'm 1000 words into a 3000 word essay, so that's my St. George's day.

I came very close to having one today, but in the end I was too lazy and went with an Uncle Ben's microwaveable rice pouch instead. What a bloody fool am I.

I also had a packet of ready salted crisps.

i don't know what st george's day is, but tomorrow is anzac day in australia, which means it's going to be a public holiday on a saturday. and i have $900AU of free money to spend on something with no stores open, bah!

oh yeah i totally have respect for anzac cunce, i'm just expressing my disappointment that we didn't get to have the friday off in lieu of anzac day falling on a weekend. it happens with every other public holiday!

Ha I wasn't questioning your respect man, just showing mine! One of my old teachers was sort of a Peterborough historian and she told me this story, it always stayed with me for some reason.
