Spaceballs

I was watching the film Spaceballs for the first time since my childhood days. I think, back in the days, I even had a little crush on Daphne Zuniga who also starred in The Sure Thing and Melrose Place. Spaceballs introduced me to Bill Pullman, and it also stars the late John Candy and Rick Moranis as Dark Helmet.

So I'm watching Spaceballs now.

What an utterly crap film.

I never liked Mel Brooks in the first place but now I'm really starting to hate him (for directing this crap film and also starring in it)

i like it. the scene where dark helmet is playing with his action figures... i dunno man, some funny shit

i've been meaning to see this film again as i also havent seen it since my childhood days. i'm fair sure it's not utterly crap, and that it's actually hilarious.

So no one hates this lame film.

It's a great film, and you're a bad person.

at moments it's painful to watch, but it has great moments too. You can't hate on mel brooks though, Blazing Saddles is great.

ok, maybe it's not utterly crap, just somewhat crappy and lame. i approve of that scene.

holy shit, i actually remember watching this. at least, i remember a scene with giant chicken talons walking around. was probably the first scene :P

i reckon i could easily watch spaceballs and still find it awesome. i've laughed at it too many times, and referenced it heaps with friends/brother fucken heaps, i cant imagine watching it and not enjoying it.

hot shots, on the other hand, i reckon i'd hate if i tried to watch it today. hot shots 1 and 2 back to back?? god no.
