Terrestrial Council - P.Bin

A new track from this year, things have been going well musically but like with every new project I'm taking a different approach with mixing/mastering/use of various tools to compose. This is the first track where I use a vocoder on actual words (said by my computer), so it's definitely rather different than most of my other tracks I think.

I hope some of you enjoy it, and I'd love to get any sort of feedback!!!

I liked the vocoder bits (as i'm a total sucker for vocoding) but the track itself I give a C. Keep in mind it's really late/early so i have to wear cheap crappy headphones so I can't comment on the fidelity...

the melody seemed very odd, I got to kind of like the major triads clashing against minor triads...interesting...

dont think so. you mean because of the several melody layers which are played in parallel. ok. it feels a bit cheesy, less parallel melody layers would be better :)

but i like the idea of the song, also the distorted bit reduced line at min 2.

no the sounds were cheesy, unrefined, it felt very amateurish, dry. bassline was horrendous, meandering, pointless, didn't fit in at all with the rest of the music

it felt like all the counterpoint (parallell lines) played apart from eachother rather than together

I dunno I think you've accomplished something here which is make genuinely bad music, and that's actually kind of difficult to do, so I have to give you props on that.
