funny thing about drone music

So the other night I was at a friend's house at like 3 AM playing morrowind on his xbox while listening to dronezone@somafm (really good internet radio). At some point my friend came into the room after being away and I asked him, "hey can you check who this is, its kind of cool." He then told me nothing was playing, I had actually just been listening to his computer's ventilation fan for 10 minutes.

The realization that you've just created music from ordinary sounds is always a good feeling

while peaking on acid a couple of weeks ago i stood in the kitchen listening to the fridge for about 20mins. it was quite awesome! and actually pretty melodic too, i might record it zole.

when i originally downloaded hangable auto bulb, the mp3 for the title track was glitched and all these skips all over the place. it threw you off and was kind of annoying but i didnt realise it wasn't actually part of the track until the bought the reissue cd dealie few years back

Had that exact problem with Vespertine, although not quite "skipping all over the place." I've left it alone.

I recently saw an Oval cd being sold as used on amazon. the description said:

"Packaging in very good condition. CD has some scratches and doesn't have any skipping (I think (LOL))"

on my first acid trip i pet my dog and the sound was like a 100X snare rush!!!!!! it was some crazy shit and contributed significantly to a really bad come down -- i kept hearing this crazy sound of each individual strand of fur scraping against my skin. ugh...
