This sort of reminded me of bochum welt being processed by effectrix (or another manipulator plug in). sounds decent so far...

Loved the feel, i'd probably scrap it for now but it sounds like it's going places if you can hang ten for a couple of weeks. Reminded me a little of your previous stuff, is there an influence there?

Ok so Ive finished it but now I'm having trouble getting the mp3 filesize down to under 2MB! If i encode with 80kbps I can, but then it sounds rubbish. What am I doing wrong, does the size of the original WAV file make a difference? Im such a noob....

why would you want it to be under 2 Mb? is it some kind of forum limit?

A nice calm break would fit in just right where the track stops now. Continue with the ambient pads and add something (perhaps some stabs of some sort) to the break and let it lead up to the peak

man this is really great and that comment about being similair to bochum is pretty accurate overall the only thing that could be changed was some of the levels
