I experimented with getting a really analogue sound.. the song is pretty cheesy but it was fun.

when i saw you put "tussy" in the thread title, i was like well, i doubt it, but lets find out, cuz i generally like most of your moosic. Sure enough, as soon as that detuned polysynth action came in, I was reminded of Alspaka.

Good track. I would definitely listen to more like it from you, BUT

Too short, and the drums are mixed like shit (sorry). For real, what's going on with your percussion levels. Makes no sense. That snare is super quiet, with absolutely no punch at all, and the hats are disproportionately loud. Fix it, so I can download this, and use it in a future mix.

Thanks for the great comment. I know what you mean, but the whole point of making the track was pretty much to go the completely opposite way of industry-standard production. Fucking the sound up, obliterating the highs, getting it to sound like a cheap mixer put it together.

I'm not trying to be defensive, I felt the same way when it was finished, but the drums reminded me of the way a friend's 808 sounded like in a mix, so I decided to keep it that way.

I'm flattered that you want to mix it, I listened to your latest Rehab and it's fucking brilliant. I'll touch up the track and get back to you.

you got the synth patches down pat for the Tuss imitation , but i still feel like a part of what makes the tuss so enjoyable are the playful percussion lines constantly changing and sounds like clapping and shakers which are distinctly lacking from the track. I liked the mix i think it works for the song

Almost as 'realistic' as Teddy Oggie though, good job!
