psychedelic middle eastern idm track

This one started out with messing with some samples and ended up pretty epic.

I've always been wanting to make this kind of vibez but haven't really done it, due to the ambition seemingly required (plus the right sounds to begin with). but I think this was a step in the right direction. Fun as hell too!

trust me, it's worth a listen

It's a good track, but if I were you, I'd use the same set of sounds, but turn it into an epic drill masterpiece. Again, that's just me.

I love richly layered tracks like this, it reminded me at one point of music from.....myst 3 exile.....it was that zither thing

yeah, the song was good in that regard.

Imho this worked better as a slower piece, with the lazy break in the beginning. I would have layered acoustic drum loops on top of that to build a sense of depth. The double time break was dry and sharp and its prominence took away the intensity the intro hinted was coming. Some nice touches though, interesting spidery production.
