Guest elliot
I did these for school about a year ago and I definitely like them but I cant really think of what else they could use/how they could be reworked.. im thinking redo the 303 part for Al's Space Brothel and maybe add some 606 drums(like in trunda?) in District 14 instead of the breakdown beat anyway anyhelp appericated. Guest Aces
I would say that it's probably best not to go back to them. I don't think they could be made any better than they are by the suggestions you have mooted. I would all of the processes and sounds you like from them and try and put them in a new context. Guest Aces
Just going from my personal experience here but I find it really hard to go back to anything once even a month has passed. If you don't have the same problem then do what you want to do. I don't see why you really need to ask anyones opinion on it. sneaksta303
After reading the rules, I'd recommend taking the energy you'd spend re-vamping these tracks, and creating something new instead. Maybe in 10 years or so, you can release these on an "unreleased/old tracks" album, and people will go nuts. As it stands though, I'd leave 'em the hell alone, and do something new and fresh.
