so i ventured into a studio earlier today and did some shoegazey stuff and psychedelic rock..

I also did a bit of rap, i've been writing cyphers and want to develop a rapping voice.

it was fun as hell even though it sucks!

bass guitar is also played by me

lyrics:

yo, this aint the shit that he dreams, he sees

his fucking reality rip at the seams,

he seems clean but he's polluted by scenes, MCs

know all about it, he's out to do schemes,

 

this means war, he's definitive, he's a machine

he angry, mean, but he's just a teen,

already packing heat, in these dirty jeans

out to get blood, whose will it be?

 

the battle starts and it's a massacre, the ambassador,

says this kid heard too many rap records, a caricature

but no one listens, fires back at her, her character

is lacking and they know it, so they crack her

 

she's wrong, truth is he had too many deamons

ghosts of dead boys, haunting him in the evenings,

until he decided life had no meaning, not even

getting two girls for double teaming

Kind of embarrassingly terrible. I've really enjoyed your work in the past though so maybe just stick with the instrumental work.

my friend spat some super personal rappity hop lyrics on one of my beats. he was all excited and played it to all his friends, and they were all like "did you make this beat?" "can i get the instrumental?" ouch

 

i'm waiting for him to come over and "redo the first verse" so i can post it here :angry:
