"Man on the street" reaction to shooting

Don't know if what I find funny about this video will translate well outside of Australian culture but here goes anyway. This is the 'raw' video from the Channel 9 camera shortly after a shooting involving a couple of people in Sydney's dingy Kings Cross area.

The second hipster douchebag and his pushy little chick are kind of amusing too. If anyone doesn't already know - the word 'wog' is slang in Australia for someone of italian/greek or similar descent.

in some parts yes. depends where you go. some suburbs/cities are nice and multicultural/arty/etc. but for every one of them, there are three that are full of 'bogan cunts'.

you dont speak for all of us, but yah flapper Australian bitches aren't enticing to me because of their accent, just because they seem like they would be crazy shit in bed(I was typing a long description of the kind of acts I assume I could ge them to do but it wasn't appropriate haha)

European female's seem to have a much smoother accent, not sure which I think is hottest, Im waiting for a massive trip to europe here soon to figure that out

I stayed in Kings Cross for about a week a couple of years ago. I walked past where the shooting was 4 or 5 times a day. It didnt strike me as a rough area at all - worst thing I saw was the odd group of surly looking poor little rich kids shuffling around. My rich arse Aunt and Uncle live just around the corner in their massive serviced apartment.

Coming from politically correct socialist New Zealand, I do find the amount of casual racism in mainstream Australian culture pretty shocking. From the complete absence of Aborigine people in the media to the way white Australians casually chuck around words like "wog". Australia kind of reminds me of Britain in the seventies in that respect.
