Thanks Rubin!

yeah chimera, I have beat matched mixes(you haven't seen my four other dubstep mixes I have put up here), but no one here likes dubstep or at least not my mixes....

fuck beat matching, emotion matching is where it's at...

I will check your mix but if it is all perfect and shiny, I won't like it, better have good tracks and be creative!

and thanks for digging my mix, sorry went off on a tangent on why beat matching isn't always necessary...

yeah man i see what you mean. in that case, i like it and didn't mean to claim you were a bad DJ

yeah, this style is more for putting on and watching with a good visual film (with the film's sound turned off), e.g. Chronos, Baraka, Sans Soleil, Planet Earth, etc

I didn't think you were saying I was bad, just that all dj's should beat match, which I was disagreeing with....

Aces: I will put more bang into the end of my next experimenting set....

Guest Deep Fried Everything

atop this question goes for you and others...

just out of curiousity, what is the source for the majority of the music you source your mixes from... vinyl/cd/mp3(hope not)/flac...?

i'd be curious to hear what six says as well, and anyone else too for that matter. i'm always sitting here thinking goddamn, these guys buy fuckloads of music!

cd's and for vinyl only tracks I have to use mp3's burned onto cd since I don't own a turntable....

tracks that have been given to me from friends on the net...

or tracks I have obtained from net-labels...

I do download music...

but I see a lot of shows...

that is how I support artists....

mp3's versus wav's, for my own music production I use wav's but a mastered album in 320 kbps mp3's sounds pretty damn close to wav's, to me.....

if you have the super-ability to tell the difference, more power to you....

Hope my sets sound decent to you still!
