CSM - Funk Don't Front Mix

This one is all about the funk. Funky 80's hiphop and classic funk. Most of the tracks are really rare. I've always loved mixes where the tracks blend seamlessly and you don't know where one track starts and the other ends, so I did my best to achieve this effect, and i've also funked up most of the tracks to get one big groove goin'. Alot of love in this set.

Where as you didn't like that I didn't match tempos very often, (apparently you didn't hear my Autopilot into Alva Noto mix which is seamless), I do that on purpose because all dj's try and match seamlessly, I want people to experience something different. And I play what I want to hear.

but i kinda take offense at "stops DJing", every single track was a bitch to set up, edit and add percussion to because old music doesn't have consistent timing. I grew tired of the cutting up and just wanted to let the funk rule the sound.

Haha i find the music perfectly fine to chill on, but it has alot of energy I guess.

Also people in clubs want the latest akon and lil weezy and all that shit, MC Super Rhymes just don't cut it :(
