two CDs. One with sublime ambient by BVDUB and the other with reinterpretations of former by 50% of echospace duo, intrusion aka. stephen hitchell.

samples sound real nice.

Rad! New Bvdub is always good, and the longer the better!

i like the second disc with the intrusion versions more than the first disc. it is still nice, but some of the vocal samples are annoying. intrusion as never sounded like this before and is very good.

I want to buy this but am too lazy to order it and can't find it in any local shops. I'm glad WATMM is up on this though, the clips sounded nice.

how can you be too lazy to click-click order it on the net, but is ok with moving yourself physically to a shop?

You're right, it makes no sense. I find buying stuff online to be sort of anticlimactic, plus it helps to save money if I limit myself to just the stuff I can track down. Going to shops is fun on it's own, anyway.

agreed, though i think i like the seduction of silence better, as far as intrusion goes. still, the more intrusion the better, and the bvdub disc is good too, if you overlook some of the cheesier bits. some of it is very reminiscent of hitchell's album (under the name 'variant') 'the setting sun'

I'm with you guys. The first disc got waaaay to new-agey for me. That second disc however is really wonderful stuff.

Seconded.

totally agree about the 1st disc veering a bit too close to new-agey bullocks. that being said there are some tight tracks on there, especially the last one. the second disc is superior, but a bit boring. glad i bought it but not as impressed as i hoped.

I have to disagree with you guys.

I love the first disc. Heartfelt and sentimental (in a good way) stuff. The best music of 2009 this far, if you're into Stars of the Lids latest double album.

The second disc on the other hand sounds boring, uninspired. Really lazy stuff. The tracks just drone on and on forever.
