NI Massive doesn't sound the way it should?

When I preview the patches in Massive in the piano roll it sounds the way it should.

But as soon as I start arranging in the piano roll it sounds completely different? What the fuck? Why is that?

I've added an mp3 of the acidbass preset so you can hear what I mean.

yeah i would say this is the most likely thing, cause on some synths the velocity doesnt just control the volume it controls other aspects of it which could drastically alter the way it sounds

It isn't because of the velocity. I just checked it.

the only other thing i can think of is note length or maybe it's the piano roll program you are using. which daw is it?

check your playback settings... buffer size etc.

I recall having a similar issue when i used it.
