i was listening to lúnasa at work... greg asked what i was listening to i said celtic he said oh like dropkick murphys?

i met spicy mchaggis at leeds festival 2001 he was a nice chap, i liked do or die and their 2nd album which i forget the name of then they got crap.

I like a few of their albums.

Rocky Road to Dublin's good

although maybe that's because it's a cover

i don't really like them. which is a shame, since i feel like i should.

i do have an innate hatred of people claiming to be a certain nationality when they're blatantly not, though. like the whole boston/ireland thing. fucking americans.

"hey, you're english! that's cool, because i'm irish!"

"where's your irish passport, then?"

"well obviously i haven't got one, but, well, it's not like -"

"well you're not irish then, are you?"

etc.

which obviously applies to the dropkick murphys too

I just know one of their songs. the one they play frequently in the movie The Departed. thought it was pretty good

i don't really like that name. also there is a kid i hate that loves that band. he hates me cause i dislocated the girl he fancies' shoulder.

i liked some of their stuff back in high school when i went to vans warped tour. flogging molly put on a better show, musically, but the murphys got a bunch of sluts to take their shirts off on stage.
