No, but really, here's my attempt at a simple, dancey-sounding track.

Obviously, not officially done (like most of my work), so hook me up with some constructive criticism.

I think you got potential, but the timbres are quite cheesy(if that makes sense?)and the drums needed variation but the melodies were always pretty interesting, and also instead of introducing a new instrument with a new melody try developing an old one. just my opinion :)

I actually worked quite a bit on the two intro synths that make up the main (would ostinato be the right word here?). I can see how you think they're cheesy, which I think may be in part to the generally major-sounding, happy mood of the song.

Any ideas how I can change the timbres to sound better?

I also worked to get the best kick drum sound I could, but I definitely agree the rest of the drums could use some variation and such.
