Can you name this break?

Heard in lots of drumfunk type D&B, so not very rare

The only break I can think of is Flute Thing by The Blues Project.

Not heard that until just now, nice

sounds like the funky drummer, with some drum machine hits thrown in

but im not sure

Definitely not the funky drummer, but there is another kick drum that's been put underneath it, annoyingly

that cymbal sounds a bit like the tightenup.

this sample contains a few things, certainly including the tighten up break for those rides

weird! i just bought that vinyl yesterday by recommendation from the record store owner. first thing i recognized was that break.
