Ragnar
some guy up in the middle of nowhere was selling these, and I was kind of completely broke at the time anyway but would these be worth getting? Are they even hard to come by or are they like $20 bargin bin sort of stuff? (I saw videos of people circuit bending both I think) He was asking $80-100 for each also is it weird that I found 2 Casio SK-1's or are those really common? Guest elliot
Tr 707's are going for around 200-250 US, Tr 505 much cheaper maybe 100 us. sk-1s i thnik are like 60 US. Not bargin stuff at all. 707 is a great machine get it 505 is pretty average but can be used to sync other x0x boxes or circuit bent i dont think you need to circuit bend a 707 though. Berk
I saw a TR-505 go for about 60 euros a year ago, everything's become a bit more expensive as of late. Both the TR-505 and the 707 are way overpriced imo, although the 707 has great sounds, might as well just get a decent sampler with volume sliders and use the samples from the 707 Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide Berk's signature Hide all signatures Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/46340-tr-505-and-707/#findComment-1060002 Share on other sites

Guest elliot
yeah pretty much everything sounds good on the 707. i disagree with berk because the 707's internal sequencing is good its really easy to jam with like patterns switching them, i think the 707 is cheap enough to just own. plus it looks fucking cool. Guest underscore
I've seen TR-505s go for less than $50 quite often on Craigslist, and I paid around $30 for mine a while ago. That sounds like a great deal on a TR-707 though. Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/46340-tr-505-and-707/#findComment-1075385 Share on other sites
