i usually walk around work and quote stuff from those sun ra movies... talkin' about interplanetary shit! my boy T-Rexz usually just nods his head and says shit like "that's what's up!"... cuz he's the only one that knows what i'm talkin' about!

I'm sorry, but I do not want to sign up to veoh to download the whole movie. But the 5 minute preview was good, i'll find another way to get it (torrent or sumptin)

i like his early rawer stuff (theres an early collection out here but i forget the name (with 'hot skillet mama' on it) ) and his later vocal led stuff with the arkestra (space is the place etc). the more normal jazz stuff i've heard hasnt always floated my boat. but with a discography of this size you cant like everything but you'll def like something.

what was that song that someone posted in the last sun ra thread that i became obsessed with? it was youtube and the lyric was repeated over and over... a live performance... something about knowing ?
