besides, what's wrong with affordable, plug'n play, solid enough (for home use, anyway) midi controllers and keyboards? all my m-audio shit has worked like a charm so far.

i agree that it's not the gear it's what you can do with it, but just agreeing with that doesn't make all equipment equally powerful

And that is wisdom. By the way, I know he uses Traktor to mix to does he uses it also while playing "live". Because his "live shows" are like dj sets.

But, he looks very concentrated for a guy using Traktor. So, he may be or snob, or some sort of a tratkor magician.

Not true, he said in an interview that he played around with an early version of reason. He says he tries as much of the latest and greatest stuff that he can.
