Uperitive is 4!! And getting better everytime! Thanks everybody for coming last time, it was lovely and the music was great!!

So uperitive 4 will be saturday the 13th of june at the MELLO MELLO! slater street liverpool:

This time we will have a showcase of two of the artists of the new japan/uk based label called ∆ICASEA (http://www.myspace.com/icasea http://icasea.blogspot.com/). Ran by Satoshi Aizawa (aka Collapsoft), Tom Knapp (aka Skeksi, on the legendary Skam records, and Mortal+Chemist) and Alex Peverett (Half of Team Doyobi!).

Plus the cream of the liverpool scene: A cup of tea, Binary Toad and a very special djset by class A audio: Big dog scary!

Here's the Lineup!

-THE WYRDING MODULE (∆ICASEA, Salford) live:

an electronic music project from paramusician Christopher Gladwin, one half of Team Doyobi (SKAM, ∆ICASEA). The sounds of the Wyrding Module are inspired by Motorik Krautrock, Early Electronica, New Wave SF, 70's horror films, W. S. Burroughs, Post Industrail Ambience and the Occult.

-MORTAL + CHEMIST (∆ICASEA, SKAM, Leeds) live:

is the project created in 1998 by the founders of the label ∆ICASEA Tom Knapp (aka Skeksi) and Alex Peverett (half of Skam record's Team Doyobi).

They perform together when possible and solo gigs under this crew name in their respective territories (Alex based in Japan, Tom based in the UK). Prepare for a full, intense, abstract/concrete liveset!

-A CUP OF TEA live:

A trio of friends who have an equal love for tight beats, squelchy dancefloor synths and lovely acoustic melodies.

Expect improvisations,expect keys,knobs and buttons,live visuals.

-BIG DOG SCARY djset:

A massive Hip-hop and ? djset with casio keyboards and noisey toys from Tony and Jake from Stig Noise Soundsystem. be prepared! :)

-BINARY TOAD live:

One of the freshest idm producer in Liverpool, his music is a blend of happy melodies, powerful bass and analogue drumming, chiptunes and downtempo ( but faster :)!! enjoy!

So.. this time there will be a special buffet! real italian products and the good food you all know!
