when i listen to a live track, currently boc live, and i can hear people talking in the background, sometimes these people are really freaking out like they are tripping on acid. kinda really bothers me, shut the fuck up and listen, maybe you should have only done one tab, ffs

you must learn how to listen to bootlegs man, I can understand it can piss off people at first. But with time you learn to cut out that shit, just think that you are at the show.

This is probably why FSOL performed most of their concerts broadcast from their apartment

i hate when peopel talk loudly during any live music. I went to a B 52s concert and the girl behind me would not stfu about everytying. finally i turned around and screamed in her face.

Just be glad you're not encountering that person in a live setting. Somehow, at almost every concert I go to, I seem to always have some coked-up Andrew WK-looking dude behind me that wants to try to start a mosh pit. And they're yelling "Freebird!" (really?! people are still doing this?) or just being drunk, stupid and loud between songs, when the performer is trying to speak to the audience.

that one live boc track that's 11 minutes long annoys me because a cell phone starts to go off but then it's kind of cool because it's in time with the beat. but there's some bitch talking through the entire thing and when it gets loud she starts to shout over it.

i can honestly say ive never been to gig quiet enough to hear people talking over the music. apart from classical, where anything but complete silence is considered ridiculously rude.

2 things i have learnt about american gigs from this thread:

1) the sound systems are pathetically quiet
