It's Not Lupus!!!

This thread is for the discussion of the television show House, MD. I was initially skeptical about it from what I heard, but it won me over after I watched a few episodes one bored afternoon. So, I started torrenting it.

The writers are very clever at faking you out. They've mastered some sort of magic fibonacci-like pattern and switch the fake-outs around enough that I can't really do much better than chance trying to guess it.

The last episode of season 2 is trippy as all hell. I watched it last night, and... holy shit. I'm still freaked.

The show as also made me

A) Want to start playing chess again

B) Want to learn about basic human anatomy, as I'm still not sure what a pancreas does

in conclusion,

yeah the show should be awful but its great! it should get samey but somehow so far it hasn't.

i still have a hard time accepting it's the same guy

been watching every week for a few years now and really like it.

the main appeal for me is that i think everyone wants to be like house on some level, so good at something that they can basically act like a total ass and still get shit done and keep your job
