Are there any other synthesizers on the market other than the HardSID that come in the form of nice, compact little PCI cards you put into your computer so you won't have to take up space for your music equipment? BCM Posted June 18, 2009 Report Share Posted June 18, 2009 there's loads of sound cards that incorporate a "synth" - usually in the form of a DSP chip as used in this or that Yamaha synth or whatever....i think even some of the older Sound Blaster cards have an EMU synth chip on board... dunno you'd have to look at the specs of loads of sound cards i guess....
