Hautlle
I am wondering if I can assign a pad on my padkontrol to set a knob to a certain percent and another pad to set the same knob to a different percent? Say I hit one pad and the knob goes to full on and I hit another pad and the knob goes to zero. Any way to do this? As far as I can tell you can only assign one pad/knob to each virtual one in ableton Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide Hautlle's signature Hide all signatures Albums/EPs Free to DL or stream Newest stuff is on Soundcloud Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/46702-ableton8/ Share on other sites
Siegecow
You can assign a series of ccnotes (pads) to pretty much any knob by going into midi mapping mode, holding down one pad and pressing another. acid1
Yes you can do this with dummy clips. If you set up a dummy clip for each parameter value and draw in that value in the envelopes section of the clip, you can then bind the dummy clip to that pad. Optionally you can set launch quantization so that it will only go to those values if its perfectly on a quantization value (like 1/8th notes).
