You're not wrong, but you're not right. You're missing out on stuff that some people would call genius, and that others wouldn't. I guess the big question would be, why care if it doesn't affect you? But then you could argue against that easily.

Well it's hard to know where to start, do you like 'modern' art? What area of their work do you want to know more about, and all that jazz.

i do like modern art yes. i saw some of their work at tate modern a few years back. i seem to remember one involved their own shit.

I saw a (literally) huge installation of their work at MoMa in NYC last year. Some of their stuff looked cool.

My ultimate impression was that they are just two self-obsessed aristocrats with a dirty sense of humor.

They are definitely not geniuses. They're just rich.
