replicate an aphex song?

so ive heard people saying stuff like "oh yeah i know what aphex used on his older stuff" blah blah blah, but can anyone of you do it?

ill mail a unique, hand-crafted gift to anyone who can convincingly and impressively duplicate an old aphex song and report on how exactly they remade the song

I would shit myself if someone did a remake of 'Equation' off of Windowlicker. I would then pay good money for a copy of said session so that I might dissect it.
