I don't see what use in the studio I would have for it. but it would be an awesome live tool! Not really for its usefllness, but it just looks neat, and is something to interact with.

Nope no price just prototype. Looks like they are trying to get a big company to buy it, or find a sponsor.

That looks really cool! Indeed no use for that in a studio but great for jamming. Would be nice if you could manipulate the pitch of the drums to make breakcore. :P

looks fun. i wish i had time and money to throw at hardware hacking.

I immediately thought of a friend of mine who hates doing stuff in DAWs yet always complains that he wants to do broken beat stuff.

So I'm sure it has a market, not my cup o tea tho.

I'll stick with my kaoss 3.

yah from the looks of it, it would seem it would be a lot easier to use a kaoss pad or any kind of controller offering pads for this type of thing, but the OTTO makes it looks prettier in a way. I like the kaoss pad 3's lights too though. Tough market.
