Yeah I watched this, it's pretty fun... feels kinda Tim Burton-ish actually, like Beetlejuice in particular... really over the top and cartoony. It kinda falls apart a bit around the last quarter or so but in a way that's kinda fun to watch.

I just downloaded this the other day. It is at times brilliant, at times boring, and mostly perverted in a dirty old uncle sort of way.

The pedo stuff definitely took away from the more brilliant aspects of the movie for me.

It is no wonder why this was never released on DVD in the USA.

ahh if only i'd seen A/D's message sooner—so i think today's the last day it's playing at the IFC theater, and I caught a 1:15 screening. my eyes have been fucked by japan. SUCH an entertaining theater experience. oh, the dated compositing! the excellent soundtrack! the skimpy outfit Kung Fu was wearing the whole time! i am in love with the movie.

Fuck!!! I missed this post, too! I saw it last week at IFC. Fudge!!!
