I dunno but sometimes, there is an obvious element of trust between certain directors and the viewership. I can see that being one of those. Some sort of "meta-cinema" of the 21st Century. Kind of untested, I guess, which is why they axed the Halo film - maybe, though, this will make them rethink it.
