Help...

So Reason 4 was uninstalled on my laptop by my brother (long story) knowing that I cannot find the Reason 4 disc to reinstall it. I have tried to do a system restore and it restores all my tunes and reason itself, or so it seems as when I go to open it, one of those annoying popup messages come up asking me to reinstall it proper like and it's missing some package.

Is there anything you could do now? Without having to spend 250 quid on a new version???

Here are some options:

- get better software

- become a pirate

- tell us what package it says it's missing - someone might have it

I have considered two of those options, but what software is better then Reason for pc/laptop?

Ok, I honestly have never heard of that one before and I don't know shizzle about VST's e.t.c would not no where to start but you could sell it to me if you can be bothered.

it has the look and feel of an old school tracker but much more advanced.

free to download and use, the demo version is fully functional with the exception of song rendering (i think). you could always record the output with another sound editor. or just buy it. i switched to Renoise from Reason and i still have a fondness for Reason but i find that my thoughts seem to come out and glue to the screen quickly in a tracker style interface. give it a try and if you ever get your Reason install sorted out you could ReWire the two apps.

Cool mate, might actually give it a try you know, read a review online and said its quite complicated for first time users but willing to give it a try as my Reason ain't gonna get soughted soon.

I suggest torrenting it, especially if you have already purchased it at one point.
