Ring Raiders

I've been on a bit of a nostalgia trip this summer. It seems like just about anything from my childhood exists on the net somewhere now days and I've spent a lot of spare time this summer digging up things from some of my earliest memories. Ring Raiders is one of those rare gems. My memory of these toys/show is one of the earliest I can recall but is also one of the clearest. I spent many early mornings pretending my dad's recliner was an airplane cockpit and watching the single episode I had on VHS over and over and over. I don't think I owned more than one or two of the actual ring fighter ships, let alone the flying fortress of justice. By the time I was 6 or so they had all but disappeared from the market. Low and behold I found the first episode, the one I owned, it is entirety yesterday and so I share it with you. Its been 20+ years since I'd seen it and I could have recited each scene nearly verbatim as though I'd never stopped watching.

I was never bought the toys by my parents, but I stole a ring raider or two from a friend of mine. LOL.

Aww, I feel bad now. I definitely remember these, I think I had a couple but I can't be sure.
