Pitchfork also had an article with the cover and tracklisting. The "Blackest Purse" track sounds pretty good. Looking forward to this one as Alopecia was definitely high on my 2008 year-end list.

yeh the preview track sounds ok. doesn't get me anymore excited for the release though. needs more listens maybe.

Will definitley be picking this up. I can't think of a Why? release I don't like.

I think Fatalist Palmistry may be my favorite track from last year.

I'm really digging this album.

There's a nice continuity between this and Alopecia, but given that they were recorded at the same time, that stands to reason. I suppose if Alopecia could be equated to some kind of induced high, the slightly more melancholy sound in Eskimo Snow would be the come-down.

Oh, and Why? are probably the best users of xylophones that I've heard in a while.

'one rose' is odd. is it all recycled lyrics? i recognise a few obvious lines

why?'s B-sides have always been very good, i'm not sure these are A or B quality yet. either way i'm very happy to have them.

I'm, I'm really excited for this album. Didn;t know it had leaked yet so I'll ahve to check it out when I get home. I saw them last year when they came through KS and it was an awesome show. Just saw they're coming to the same club the day after my birthday this year! FUCK YES!

been listening to this alot. probably too much, its sticking in my head when i'm tryin to sleep just like alopecia and elephant eyelash did. stand out tracks so far: against me, blackest purse

into the shadow of my embrace - the intro is just so unexpected. love it.the part around 2mins is very animal collective. probably the cymbal crashes. "saying all this in public should make me feel funny"

Ya, I've been listening to this during my walk to and from work and usually once in the evening if I'm just hanging out around my apartment. Really good but, like yoni says, it's quite different from anything they've done before. I really like it a lot so far though.
