why is it surprising? they're just an 'indie' band who got big. they still have a lot of great songs, and even venture into post-rock and shoegaze/dreampop territory every now and then.

yeah, it was really weird, skins had just finished on channel 4 (yeah it's shit but i'm emo at the moment) then this came on in the adverts, had a bit of a cry, then went to my PC to check it out again
