i've been in costa rica for a week and didn't have wattem so you guys better fucking cough up the lols

costa rica was awesome. so much so that i caught diaorrhea and literally shat myself on the flight home.

we've got relatives out there, which makes things much cheaper innit

definitely wouldn't recommend hiring your own car and driving around the country yourself - some of the roads are absolutely horrific and you'll probably drive off a cliff or something. they apparently deliberately leave the mountain roads really shit, to keep traffic down and prevent overexploitation. which is quite cool, i suppose.

get hold of a proper tourbus if you can.

they also accept US dollars everywhere which makes things pretty easy for all you yankees. the local money, however, is very pretty and has hammerhead sharks on it.
